Midlands-based national vehicle provider Global Go! have, this year, invested heavily in Welfare spec vehicles. The first of an ongoing bulk order, this first placement will see 15 Mercedes Benz Sprinter MWB vans join their fleet ready to work in August.
The vehicles will all be supplied by Bell Truck And Van and will be fitted out to their exacting requirements by CPD Bodies of Stockton.
Commenting on the incoming fleet Global Go! CEO Gareth Jones said, “We are delighted to be welcoming these vehicles onto our fleet as part of our ongoing investment in new and up to date rolling stock. It’s important particularly in the current environment that we ensure our customers and partners have new, reliable and compliant stock to keep them fully operational and on the road. We elected to use CPD in Stockton to fulfil the build programme for a number of reasons. Most notably, their ability to deliver to plan and the specification and build that was undertaken. It was also good to work with Cathal and his team on this project given the work that we already undertake with them on tippers and chassis-based dropside products.”
Cathal Doocey, Owner of CPD added, “It's been great working with Global Go! on this relatively new product to our portfolio. We’ve worked with Gareth for many years and have a long and successful relationship with Global Go! so it’s great that they’ve recognised the work that we do for them by giving us this order, which in total over the next 18 months, is one of the largest that we’ve received for Welfare spec”.
